Numbered Account

By Christopher Reich
I happened upon this novel by chance at a second-hand book fair. I picked it up in a bundle of books on a similar genre. I loved it. A total thrilling ride which I couldn't put down. In fact I'm very surpirsed some movie studio hasn't grabbed the rights and turned it into a blockbuster. If you enjoy crime, if you enjoy the thriller, if you enjoy authors like Grisham and Connelly and Clancy you'll certainly enjoy Christopher Reich.

Synopsis

Nick is willing to do whatever it takes to find his father's killer - even if it means abandoning a glittering career on Wall Street and a beautiful fincee. And when he infiltrates the bank in his search for the truth, he finds himself plundged into a world where everything- gold, power, even life and death - has its price.
Sinking ever deeper into this clandestine world of unbridled greed and treachery, Nick turns to an alluring but dangerous woman with an agenda of her own, and too soon learns that in order to catch his father's murderer he too, must become a criminal.

As the bank comes under investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Nick finds himself protecting the one man who may hold the key to the truth- the key to his father's murder. As his search intensifies, as Nick gets closer to the answers, he must face the fact that his own life could be the final sacrifice he has to make.
