There we go

A year ago I began a challenge to chronicle the books I've read. I managed to average one book per week and for me that was quite a challenge. But I made it. It's 52 weeks later and I can comfortably say that I've achieved what I set out to do.
I've shared a raft of books under a variety of headings including:
 Fiction and Non-fiction
ChildrenYouth and graphic novel
Thriller, Mystery, Classic and Biography.

But what now? I've been really enjoying sharing the books I've read and I don't particularly what to stop the project, change it perhaps, morph it somewhat. Over the next 12 months I hope to do the following.

  • Kid100 needs to be completed. I'm unsure how far through that list I am but I know I have quite a way to go.
  • Revisit and expand those authors I've particularly enjoyed this past year.
  • Enlist the help of a co-author, someone with the same passion for books as I. But someone who enjoys a different sort of book.
  • Expand the novel-study section, I want to draw together the resources other elementary and primary teacher will need for them to share a wider variety of class readers.
  • Novels to TV/Movie. There are a raft of novels that are brilliant reads that have also been turned into television series or movies. It would be good to share some of those too.

I am also keen to maintain that personal touch in my preambles. A little of my life and how it relates to the reading material at hand.

What do you think? Silly idea or worth trying for the next twelve months?
